It's on Freeview 81 or Sky 343.
I'd never heard of the film before but was astonished to see the similarities between this and ET.
Watch this channel for more obscure 50s B movies and more - great stuff. Didn't know there was so many films that had got lost in time.
One of myAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07308995132403665895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-102724177937132986.post-67771852679308567782018-01-25T10:34:12.821-05:002018-01-25T10:34:12.821-05:00Regarding Meba on bike scene, although not shown, t...Regarding Meba on bike scene, although not shown, the janitor must have taken Meba on his bike to the other crooks. His bike had a basket at the front similar to the E.T. bike, which is perhaps what the earlier reviewer is referring to. When I first saw Mega, I was immediately reminded of the Halloween scene in E.T.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-102724177937132986.post-42306257953712667482017-05-20T04:37:10.087-04:002017-05-20T04:37:10.087-04:00Thanks for this. I watched the version on Youtube and saw no sign of it. Interesting case of everyone repeating inflammatory "facts" without actually verifying them.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11716224645143254255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-102724177937132986.post-35106870806971768482015-05-23T08:12:31.229-04:002015-05-23T08:12:31.229-04:00Glad you liked the review, Sara. SS is a cute movie for its low-budget innocence -- an interesting flip-side to the usual deadly monster aliens.Nightowlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11636207098734817045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-102724177937132986.post-75864925149471506812015-05-23T07:03:14.800-04:002015-05-23T07:03:14.800-04:00I saw this twice at Saturday morning pictures and ...I saw this twice at Saturday morning pictures and would love to again, 45ish years later. I remembered the name 'Meba' and the tray of cakes. Really pleased to read your synopsis. I see I can rent it on-line and will do so very soon.
Thank you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01444884554615216983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-102724177937132986.post-91077195456534375472013-01-09T20:24:18.054-05:002013-01-09T20:24:18.054-05:00Sadly, I've never seen this film, bu after tak...Sadly, I've never seen this film, bu after taking a look at some on-line photos of Meba, I'm not sure I could. It's even more primitive than the puppets from FIREBALL XL-5. I don't think I could get past it.Randall Landershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10459066894752870249noreply@blogger.com
